November Cruise 2024Together with Celtic Quilter, Omaha, NE we scheduled a Quilt Cruise for November 2-9, 2024. For an 8 day all inclusive cruise.
We will depart from Ft Lauderdale on Nov 2, 2024 just as before, but we will spend the first full day, Sunday, at Sea and you can get started on the new pattern that Jaqueline has planned for you. Monday, Nov 4, we will be at "Perfect Day" at CocoCay, Bahamas. This private resort offers many things to do from swimming and water park activities, a 450 foot high balloon ride, wave jet tours, kayaking, snorkeling, ziplines, or lounging in one of the many cabanas available pool and beachside. Tuesday, Nov 5, we will be at sea cruising to our next great port, but you will enjoy day 2 of Jaqueline's class and project in our dedicated classroom space. Wednesday, Nov 6, is wonderful Cozumel, Mexico. Here you can swim with Dolphins, explore Paradise Reef, take a Jeep tour of the Punta Sur National Park, or take in one of the many excursions to the Tulum Ruins, or take a class on Taco and Margarita making, or explore the flavors and traditions of Mexico to learn of the local history, make local dishes for lunch under the guidance of a local chef, and explore all of what goes into making (and tasing) Tequila at Mexico Lindo. Thursday, Nov 7, we will port at George Town, Grand Cayman, just as the original itinerary called for. Enjoy the day in the capital city of the Cayman Islands and all that it has to offer, from 7 Mile Beach to the Royal Botanical Park, and from exploring shipwrecks while snorkeling to getting up close and personal with baby sea turtles. Friday, Nov 8, is the third and final day at sea with Jacqueline, with more expert instruction in her paper piecing techniques and hopefully finishing up the project before we reach the home port. Saturday, Nov 9, we will dock back at Ft Lauderdale and disembark for home. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know and we will do our best to provide any information to you, handle any questions or issues that arise, and provide a deposit refund if needed prior to the original refund deadline.
