Fabric Collections: Let me tell you how it all began…

Years ago, when I was just starting out designing my very first pattern collection, something truly magical happened. I had a breakthrough moment that changed everything for me. I was honored to win the Color Trophy (twice!) at the OEQC here in the Netherlands, and it completely opened my eyes. The bright, vivid colors I loved working with didn’t just stand out, they sparked joy. They caught people’s attention, made them smile, and brought a kind of energy I couldn’t ignore. And in that moment, it all clicked…
I knew this was my path. I wanted to create quilts that celebrate boldness, color, and vibrancy, designs that make your heart skip a beat and your creativity come alive.
And that passion? It’s still at the heart of everything I create today.

The first quilt I made in these bright colors was Circle of Life, designed from fabrics in my own stash. As I continued designing, I began curating a collection of batiks specifically for my patterns. I started with a basic range of colors and, to create smoother transitions between hues, I added two more fabrics between each color. Eventually, I selected the 24 colors of the Rainbow Collection.
Then, Anthology Fabrics invited me to collaborate with them, and together we created a stunning range of batiks. I expanded the collection by adding a bold black-and-white stripe, the deep raven black, and a beautiful white fabric, rounding out the Rainbow Collection Quilts with even more striking options!

Since 2015, I've had the honor of being invited by Anthology Fabrics to design my own fabric line, and it's been an incredible journey. The plan is to release two collections each year: a Spring Collection and a Fall Collection. Both collections debut at the Spring Market and the International Quilt Market in Houston every October.
