Dianne lives in Melbourne Australia and she is our first Authorized Teacher for Australia, we are pleased to have her also as our Ambassador in Australia for the BeColourful brand. Dianne has always enjoyed most types of craft: needlework, sewing, cross stitch, embroidery, beading, tapestry, appliqué and decoupage. After being introduced to patchwork in 2008 she took an interest in the beautiful quilts being pieced by hand and machine and realized immediately that patchwork was for her and that it was time to do something different, so she bought her first sewing machine and set out on the road of discovery making quilts for family and friends. |
Dianne’s interest in paper foundation started with Quiltworx in 2013. She has been a Quiltworx Certified Instructor since 2015 and teaches on a regular basis.
Dianne made her first BeColourful quilt ‘Enchanting Stars’ in 2016 and this is where her passion for everything BeColourful started. Since then, she has completed: Catch Me... If you can, Beautiful Day, The Four Seasons: Summer Lemonade and Winter, Purple Sunrise, Bright Star, Summer Dream, Dazzling Diamonds, Flora Bella, Lady of the Lake, Dream Flight, Enchanting Stars, Summer Breeze, Serendipity, Spring Fever, When Summer Ends, La Vie est Belle, Black Beauty, Magic Forest, Chasing Dreams and Festival. Spoilt for choice of what to make next, she is currently working on more patterns to add to her portfolio of BeColourful quilts.
Dianne enjoys the challenge of each BeColourful quilt she makes and loves to share her knowledge and inspiration so more people can join the BeColourful experience. With trunk shows and her portfolio of BeColourful quilts, she hopes to inspire more people to join the BeColourful experience.
Dianne is available to inspire wherever the need arises: shops, guilds, retreats and private groups anywhere in metropolitan Melbourne and throughout the state of Victoria.
Dianne was delighted to have five of her BeColourful quilts exhibited at the 2019 and 2025 Australian Quilt Market.
