In Full Bloom: Good to know -> This is not a paper piece patternUnlike all our other patterns, this is a very special design. In fact, it is not a paper piece design but a design that takes you by the hand to assemble this quilt step by step. What is nice to know is that there is a lot of appliqué work in it, namely all the little flowers that are in the beautiful border that surround the cheerful summer flower. And once you have made the petals, you can choose to complete the hearts of the flowers with a fabric button. That really gives a very special 3D effect for the WOW factor

Bluetiful update: Correction fabric 13 in pattern part K-2Despite all our care to bring a perfect pattern to market , unfortunately there is an error in one of our patterns. In the beautiful "Bluetiful" we calculated too little fabric for Fabric 13.
Instead of 6⅝" yards you will need 7⅙" yard to make this beautiful pattern. You will find the adjustments in the PDF file below.

Small typo error in Botanica, page 13, in the section, under the cutting chart. Each flower has 11 foundation points. We start with foundation points 1 and 2. Place the “small”, 3” x 1½”, precut piece of fabric 8, for foundation point 2, right-side up. Then take the 3½” x 1½” precut piece of fabric 14, for foundation point 1, and place it right-side down on top of fabric 14, keeping right sides together. Place the paper template for Part D, the flower, on top of fabric 14 and stitch on the printed line between foundation point # 1 and foundation point # 2.

Dream Flight; error in H21Unfortunately we have found an error in H21:
Fabric and cutting chart for the “dark red” spiked circle H 21 Fabric 13: Large dark red outside spikes - Cut 3 strips of 3” by approximately 42”. Fabric 10: Small inside spikes - Cut 3 strips of 2” by approximately 42”. The large outside spikes has to been made in fabric 10 instead of fabric 13 and the small spikes are made in my gorgeous burgundy red fabric 13. The next chard shows you the right cutting instructions Fabric and cutting chart for the “dark red” spiked circle H 21 Fabric 10: The large orange red outside spikes - Cut 3 strips of 3” by approximately 42”. Fabric 13: The small dark red inside spikes - Cut 3 strips of 2” by approximately 42”. |
Dazzling Diamonds; small typo error in the first strip of star points 3 and 6Nothing serious, but we found out (thanks to Mary Porrata) that there's a small error in the cutting schedules of the first strip of star point 3 and 6.
Here's the correction:

Luminosity; the striped sashings - and the cutting chards for fabric 26 and 27In the instruction booklet I totally forgotten to mention the exact length of the long (24) sashings. The length of the striped sashings is 19". This size includes the seam allowance. The blocks finish at 18 1/2".
The small sashings (16) would be 6 1/4" but might be just as good to cut off the excess later when you trim off the second seam allowance.

Fabric correction for Enchanting StarsWe recently find out that there is a mistake in the backcover, after reprinting Enchanting Stars. Don't asked me how that is possible because we did not changed anything about the small fabrics swatches and the measurements, but it happened.
What you need: For the tiny dot, fabric 27 = BC 31 is 0.7 yard and for the glitter fabric, fabric 26 = BC 35 1.2 yard. |
Update pattern parts C for "Infinity"Pattern part C is in reverse. You will find the instructions in the download file.
Important: print the PDF files for Pattern Parts C in Letter format
*********************************** NN papers: First paper, sections 15, 17 and 19 all show fabric 9. It has to be 8, 9, 9 as fabrics 7 and 10 are on either side.
Part Q1 and Q2: the triangles for the flying geese should be cut 4 1/2 by 2 1/2, not 2 1/4. |

Cutting Guide for Fanciful Flight by Maureen Wood
Attached a cutting guide that Maureen Wood developed for some students of her for the flying geese arches in Fanciful Flight in order to simplify the cutting of all of the pieces for them.

Update pattern parts A, AA, F and J for "When Summer Ends"The foundation pieces of the arches: A, AA, F and J has the wrong fabric numbers. Don't ask me how this happened. It looks like a child placed the numbers in the circles. I already placed the right foundation parts onto the website.
The total amount of fabrics is OK. I have made my fabric calculations from my fabric charts and they are OK. First: We find out that you have to cut some extra pieces of fabric for the spikes. Second: We also find out that there is an error in placing the colors in parts AA and F in the right order. The numbers in the small fabric circles at the foundation pieces are placed in a wrong way.The diagrams in the text however, to place the fabrics in the right order, are okay. I have made a cutting schedule (not on true scale) for the parts A, AA, F and J and I have add the paper foundation pieces, not on true scale, to show you where/how to place the fabrics in the arches. Just to give you an idea. Now you can continue to make this beautiful quilt. |

Tiny update on pattern part M for "Something Blue"The directions in the pattern booklet of Something Blue are correct, but on the foundation papers, there is an tiny error on piece M (which is for the cornerstones that will fit between the sashings.)
In the booklet, it states (correctly) that pattern piece M should use fabric 8, which is the black fabric with tiny silver stars. However, on the foundation papers for M, it states to use fabric 9, which is the black and white striped fabric used for the sashings. And that is incorrect. The small cornerstones that will fit between the sashings has to be fabric 8: the black with silver star. |
Update pattern part F for "Magic Forest"Despite all our efforts to present you the perfect pattern for Magic Forest, we find out that there is only one sheet of the Part F papers. And that's not enough to make this beautiful quilt.
So here it is, the complete file for the star.

This is the perfect update for "Catch me... If you can!"Two of my Panama City students: Barbara Thorn and Rosie Lysinger from Indiana, made these wonderful Excel cutting instructions for Catch me...
They not only have made a file how much fabrics you need in each color, but also all the pieces you must and can cut from each color in each size. It was, for both of them, a huge amount of work, but these cutting instructions that they have made are so wonderful and easy to work. When you use these files..... well.... the only thing you have do is to make the quilt... Barbara and Rosie, thank you so much for your detailed instructions. It makes this quilt so much easier to make for a lot of quilters all around the world.
